Hello world!
So, we decided to get married. I always thought I'd have a beach wedding with 20 close family. He always thought he'd have a church wedding with 300 close family. This is my journey through compromise and discovery. For myself as much as anyone else.
Some of them! How many do you have?
ReplyDeleteSarah, you look so happy! What wonderful photos of your family & friends. I love the ones of you all on the beach, what wonderful weather you had. Thank you for sharing these with me, and your dress looks beautiful, even when you hitched it up to walk across the carpark!
I'm sure all the angst and stress you had over some of the decisions you made about the food, the flowers etc all seems a very long time ago and everyone looks to have thoroughly enjoyed the day.
I don't know whether you will continue to post on here now you are a married woman, but I would love to keep in touch.
We have just said goodbye to our Californian friends, who have been here this week. It has been so good to see them and so sad to see them leave. We're not sure whether we will be able to meet up again due to the length of the flight - both Andy and I struggle with long flights due to pain, and I have said the US is now too far for me and he has said that the flight here was too long for him - but we never say never and have eased the parting by planning to meet in 5 years time for a cruise from the east coast of America - almost a halfway solution - and hopefully we will all be well enough to make it happen.
Jacqui, I will not be posting here for now...trying to adjust is a handful :) But I will continue to follow your blog and will comment there from time to time!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I said "some" pictures because we have been having trouble getting them from the rough state to printable states...we will get there though!
I think your "halfway" solution sounds like a "whole" solution :)
Talk soon!

Oops I just posted under Chris' gmail account :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah, it will be nice to stay in touch.
ReplyDeleteA tip for adjusting to married life - just remember 'what's his is yours and what's yours is your own' - a local Yorkshire saying!
Take care.
